Awodrop

Awodrop

Awodrop is a mixed gas containing argon and very low oxygen content (0.01%), developed specifically for the needs of welding processes. It combines the inert properties of argon with the ability of oxygen to stabilise the arc, making it an effective alternative for applications such as MAG and TIG welding of aluminium.

Awodrop is a mixed gas for welding, consisting of argon and 0.01% oxygen. It combines the protective effect of an inert noble gas with the ability of oxygen to stabilise the arc.

The mixture is colourless, odourless, non-toxic and does not sustain combustion. Awodrop is heavier than air and can accumulate in low-lying spaces such as basements, acting as a suppressant gas to displace oxygen. For this reason, its use requires good ventilation and attention to occupational safety.

Awodrop composition: 0,01 % oxygen + Argon
