Awodrop as welding gas
The low oxygen content of Awodrop gas improves arc controllability, especially in welding processes where argon alone is not sufficient to produce a smooth and controlled arc. Although the addition of oxygen can increase the formation of surface oxides, the concentration is so low that it does not usually cause problems with weld quality.

Awodrop is suitable for TAG and MAG welding of all materials where an arc stabilising property is required in the process. It has been specially developed for welding aluminium where arc stability with argon alone may be insufficient.

The use of Awodrop improves arc control and mass transfer, supporting a uniform weld finish. In addition, the gas is suitable for arc soldering as the low oxygen content keeps the arc temperature low and reduces stress on the surface to be soldered. Risk of suffocation
An increase in the concentration of Ar-He in the breathing air poses a risk of suffocation. Asphyxiation occurs unnoticed and can lead to death.

First aid
The person suffering from oxygen deficiency must be immediately moved to fresh air. If the victim is having difficulty breathing or is not breathing, administer artificial respiration as quickly as possible and call for help. When rescuing a victim, it is important to remember not to enter an oxygen-deprived area without breathing equipment.
