Cromarod 316LP is a rutile-coated thin-walled (s= more than 1.5 mm), weldable in all positions. Electrode welding with Cromarod 316LP is significantly more productive than TIG manual welding.
Its very stable arc, good melt controllability and reweldability make this rod particularly suitable for the most demanding vertical and horizontal welding applications, e.g. welding of fixed pipes in difficult installation conditions. Cromarod 316LP is also recommended for welding all molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel root beams and multi-beam filler beams in all material thicknesses.
