Elga P48M

P48M is a low hydrogen base electrode for welding low-alloy steels.

P48M is a low hydrogen base electrode for welding low-alloy steels.It is suitable for structures under tension and has good contamination tolerance.

It is well suited for installation work because the arc does not catch, even at low current levels. Root passes can be welded with negative polarity. P 48M has good impact resistance properties down to -50°C.
