P48P is a base-coated, low-hydrogen C-Mn electrod specifically designed for pipe welding. The all-position AC/DC electrod is very easy to use. The P48P has a very stable arc, allowing it to be used in the most difficult welding positions without fear of arc extinction.
The weld surface is smooth, slightly convex, and the joining to the base material is very smooth. There is no problem with variations in air gap or slight transversality. Weld grinding work is significantly reduced, as are noise and dust on site.
