Nitrogen N50 (N₂) is a very pure gas with a purity of ≥ 99.999 %. It is colourless, odourless, tasteless and non-toxic, and is an inert gas – meaning it does not react easily with other substances under normal conditions. Nitrogen N50 is non-flammable and does not promote combustion, making it safe and versatile, especially in demanding industrial processes.
Nitrogen is the most abundant gas in the atmosphere, accounting for about 78%. It is slightly lighter than air and forms a significant part of the Earth’s atmosphere.
