Premiarc DW-316L is a rutile flux-cored wire designed for welding austenitic stainless steels of the 18% Cr / 12% Ni / 3% Mo type, such as AISI 316L, SS 2343, SS 2348 and equivalents. It is also suitable for welding other similar alloys at operating temperatures below 400°C.
The arc burns very steadily and without splashing, the surface of the fire is bright and smooth and the slag is self-transmitting. The Premiarc DW-316L is mainly used for leg welds and bottom welds and is ideal for small applications. The 0.9 mm thick Premiarc DW-316L is designed for welding joints less than 3 mm thick.
