Synthetic air
Synthetic air
Synthetic air is a colourless, odourless and non-flammable mixture of gases that corresponds to the composition of normal breathing air (about 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen) without impurities. It is ideal for laboratories, calibration, testing and process purging where an accurate and standardised air composition is required.
Synthetic air is a well-defined gas consisting of about 20.9% oxygen and 79.1% nitrogen – the composition of normal breathing air without any impurities or moisture.
It is a colourless, odourless, non-flammable gas with a density similar to that of air and behaves physically in the same way as natural air. Although similar in composition to breathable air, synthetic air is not intended for inhalation but for technical and industrial applications.
Synthetic air composition: 21% oxygen + nitrogen
