Rutile coated hard welding rod. The needle provides a strong and wear-resistant coating. When in doubt about the cracking susceptibility of the base material, weld a buffering layer under the hardfacing layer to be welded with the Special Steel Stick E312-17. The coating retains its hardness up to +600°C. Can only be machined by grinding. Hardness when welded 57-62 HRc.
