SRKV, an efficient service provider, is Woikoski’s reseller in Salo
Salon Rakennuskonevuokraamo (SRKV) serves its customers in an excellent location on Satamakatu, in the same place where the Woikoski dealership has been operating for about thirty years. An attractive glass façade opens up a view of the shop’s daily life, and the yard offers a wide range of construction machinery and removable toilet facilities for hire. The company employs 11 people (15-16 in season) and the atmosphere is relaxed. There are smiling staff and often Woitto, the shop dog, who follows his mistress around wearing a yellow vest.
From driver to Woikoski officer
Juha-Petteri Kemilä, who works as SRKV’s store manager, is responsible for the day-to-day running of the store. He is responsible for practically everything that moves around the store, including Woikoski’s gases, other products and their management.
Juha-Petteri joined the company in 2008 as a driver, and “after a few small hiccups” the job description expanded to a completely different level. Now, almost 18 years have passed, and he has been in charge of Woikoski for about four years.

Everything for welding – except the welding machines themselves
SRKV’s Woikoski range serves a diverse customer base. A comprehensive range of welding and industrial gases is available, and alongside these, the shop offers almost everything needed for welding. Welding wires, nozzles, rods and other consumables are available. “We don’t have welding machines, but you can find almost everything else related to welding,” Juha-Petteri sums up.

A strong history and a long partnership
SRKV’s rental business started in 1977, when Salo was experiencing strong growth. There was a lot of construction going on in the city, there were plenty of people and the atmosphere was lively. The business had its origins in the construction business, from which the machinery rental business was separated into its own entity.
The cooperation with Woikoski started in 1995, when Woikoski was looking for a new retail outlet in the Salo region. SRKV jumped at the chance, and since then Woikoski’s products have been on display in the familiar Satamakatu commercial property. According to Juha-Petter, the cooperation has gone smoothly over the years. According to him, Woikoski’s products bring a whole new stream of customers to the point: many people come to rent machines at first and then discover that gas cylinders and accessories are also available at the same place. This creates a natural additional sales outlet and a plus in the wallet.
