Woikoski also offers remote monitoring

Our customer Pelaser Oy is a machine shop established in 2007 in Kuortti, South Savo. Pelaser Oy is a subcontracting company that makes products for customers based on their drawings, ranging from direct cuts to larger subassemblies.

Pelaser buys a wide range of gases from Woikoski Oy for different applications. The main gases are liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen. “We use Woikoski’s gases as shielding gases and cutting gases for laser cutting,” says Jukka Larkala, Technical Director at Pelaser. The cooperation has been going on for about eighteen years. “We have been very satisfied with the services provided by Woikoski,” Jukka continues.

In addition to gas deliveries, Woikoski performs remote gas tank monitoring at Pelaser’s plants. “Remote monitoring allows the customer to concentrate on his own work and not run out of gas. With the new laser, we also extended the gas hose line at Pelaser,” says Mika Suominen, Woikoski’s regional sales manager, describing the cooperation with Pelaser.
