Woikoski Safirs to Fly at the Rovaniemi Aviation Event on August 20, 2026

Woikoski’s historic Saab Safir aircraft will be on display at the Rovaniemi aviation event on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

The Air Force’s “A Career in Military Aviation” event will be held at Rovaniemi Airport from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature a spectacular air show twice, during which you’ll also get to see the “flying jewels of Woikoski”—the Woikoski Safir aircraft.

The first of these similar performances begins at 10:30 a.m., and the second at 1:30 p.m. The information booths and aircraft exhibition are also open between the air shows. Admission to the event is free.
